Terms and Conditions



These terms and conditions of this agreement (“User Agreement”) govern your use of www.lawyerouno.com (“Lawyerouno Website”); by using the Lawyerouno Website, you accept these terms and conditions in full. Each time you access and/or use the Lawyerouno Website, you agree to be bound by and comply with all of the terms of this User Agreement. If you disagree with these terms and conditions or any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use the Lawyerouno Website.

The term ‘Lawyerouno’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ or ‘our’ refers to the owner of the Lawyerouno Website whose head office is L-185, Manoj Vihar, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad 201012. The term ‘you’, ‘your’ or ‘user’ refers to the user or viewer of our Lawyerouno Website.


Except as set forth in the Statement of Privacythat applies to the Lawyerouno Website, you and Lawyerouno do not have a confidential, fiduciary, or any other special relationship by virtue of your use of the Lawyerouno Website or your communications to Lawyerouno through or related to the Lawyerouno Website.


License to use Lawyerouno Websites


Unless otherwise stated, Lawyerouno and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights in the Lawyerouno Website and material on the Lawyerouno Website. Subject to the license below, all these intellectual property rights are reserved.

You may view, download for caching purposes only, and print pages from the Lawyerouno Website for your own personal use, subject to the restrictions set out below and elsewhere in these terms and conditions.

You must not:

·         republish material from the Lawyerouno Website (including republication on another Lawyerouno Website);

·         sell, rent or sub-license material from the Lawyerouno Website;

·         show any material from the Lawyerouno Website in public;

·         reproduce, duplicate, copy or otherwise exploit material on the Lawyerouno Website for a commercial purpose;

·         edit or otherwise modify any material on the Lawyerouno Website unless the content or material is submitted by you to the extent allowed by this User Agreement; or

·         redistribute material from the Lawyerouno Websiteexcept for content specifically and expressly made available for redistribution.

Where content is specifically made available for redistribution, it may only be redistributed within your organisation, provided that you are registered as such organisation.

Acceptable Use

You must not use the Lawyerouno Website in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the Lawyerouno Website or impairment of the availability or accessibility of the LawyerounoWebsite; or in any way which is unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful, or in connection with any unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful purpose or activity.

You must not use the Lawyerouno Website to copy, store, host, transmit, send, use, publish or distribute any material which consists of (or is linked to) any spyware, computer virus, Trojan horse, worm, keystroke logger, rootkit or other malicious computer software.

You must not conduct any systematic or automated data collection activities (including without limitation scraping, data mining, data extraction and data harvesting) on or in relation to the Lawyerouno Website without our express written consent.

You must not use the Lawyerouno Website to transmit or send unsolicited commercial communications.

You must not use the Lawyerouno Website for any purposes related to marketing without our express written consent.


Restricted access

Access to certain areas of the Lawyerouno Website is restricted. Lawyerouno reserves the right to restrict access to other areas of the Lawyerouno Website, or indeed this entire Lawyerouno Website, at our discretion.

If Lawyerouno provides you with a user ID and password to enable you to access restricted areas of the Lawyerouno Website or other content or services, you must ensure that the user ID and password are kept confidential. You accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your user ID or password.


User Content

In these terms and conditions, “User-Generated Content” means material (including without limitation text, images, audio material, video material and audio-visual material) that you submit to the Lawyerouno Website, for whatever purpose.

You grant to Lawyerouno a worldwide, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate and distribute User-Generated Content in any existing or future media. You also grant to Lawyerouno the right to sub-license these rights, and the right to bring an action for infringement of these rights.

Lawyerouno reserves the right to edit or remove any material submitted to the Lawyerouno Website, or stored on our servers, or hosted or published upon the Lawyerouno Website.

Lawyerouno may use the User-Generated Contentfor internal purposes.

Notwithstanding Lawyerouno’s rights under these terms and conditions in relation to User-Generated Content, Lawyerouno does not undertake to monitor the submission of such User-Generated Content to, or the publication of such content on, the Lawyerouno Website.

Lawyerouno may, but will not have any obligation to, review, monitor, display, post, store, maintain, accept, or otherwise make use of, any of your User-Generated Content, and Lawyerouno may, in its sole discretion, delete, move, re-format, remove or refuse to post or otherwise make use of User-Generated Content without notice or any liability to you or any third party.

Your User-Generated Contentmust not be illegal or unlawful, must not infringe any third party's legal rights, and must not be capable of giving rise to legal action whether against you or Lawyerouno or a third party (in each case under any applicable law).

You will not misrepresent your relationship with Lawyerouno to others.

You will not use any User-Generated Content that belongs to other people and pass it off as your own unless authorized by the owner; this includes any content that you might have found elsewhere on the Internet. For example, your User-Generated Content should not contain any visible logos, phrases, or trademarks that belong to third parties. If anyone contributes to your User-Generated Content or has any rights to your User-Generated Content, or if anyone appears in the User-Generated Content, then you must also have their permission to submit such User-Generated Content to Lawyerouno.

You will not impersonate any other person, user, or company, and do not submit User-Generated Content that you believe may be false, fraudulent, deceptive, inaccurate, or misleading, or that misrepresents your identity or affiliation with a person or company.

You are solely responsible for your interaction with other users of the Lawyerouno Website, whether online or offline. We are not responsible or liable for the conduct or content of any user. We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor or become involved in disputes between you and other users. Exercise common sense and your best judgment in your interactions with others (e.g., when you submit any personal or other information) and in all of your other online activities.

You must not submit any User-Generated Content to the Lawyerouno Website that is or has ever been the subject of any threatened or actual legal proceedings or other similar complaint.


Copyright Notice

Copyright and other relevant intellectual property rights exist on all text relating to Lawyerouno’s services and the full content of the Lawyerouno Website.

No Warranties

This Lawyerouno Website is provided “as is” without any representations or warranties, express or implied. Lawyerouno makes no representations or warranties in relation to the Lawyerouno Website or the information and materials provided on the Lawyerouno Website.

Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing paragraph, Lawyerouno does not warrant that:

  • the Lawyerouno Website will be constantly available, or available at all; or
  • the information on the Lawyerouno Website is complete, true, accurate or non-misleading.

Nothing on the Lawyerouno Website constitutes, or is meant to constitute, advice of any kind. If you require advice in relation to any legal, financial or medical matter you should consult an appropriate professional.


Indemnity and Limitation of Liability

Lawyerouno will not be liable to you (whether under the law of contact, the law of torts or otherwise) in relation to the contents of, or use of, or otherwise in connection with, the Lawyerouno Website:

  • to the extent that the Lawyerouno Website is provided free-of-charge, for any direct loss;
  • for any indirect, special or consequential loss; or
  • for any business losses, loss of revenue, income, profits or anticipated savings, loss of contracts or business relationships, loss of reputation or goodwill, or loss or corruption of information or data.

These limitations of liability apply even if Lawyerouno has been expressly advised of the potential loss.


Nothing in the Lawyerouno Website disclaimer will exclude or limit any warranty implied by law that it would be unlawful to exclude or limit; or to attempt or purport to exclude or limit, its liability.


You agree to, and you hereby, defend, indemnify, and hold Lawyerouno harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, investigations, liabilities, judgments, fines, penalties, settlements, interest, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) that directly or indirectly arise from or are related to any claim, suit, action, demand, or proceeding made or brought against any Lawyerouno, or on account of the investigation, defense, or settlement thereof, arising out of or in connection with: (i) your User-Generated Content; (ii) your use of the Lawyerouno Website and your activities in connection with the Lawyerouno Website; (iii) your breach or anticipatory breach of this User Agreement; (iv) your violation or anticipatory violation of any laws, rules, regulations, codes, statutes, ordinances, or orders of any governmental and quasi-governmental authorities in connection with your use of the Lawyerouno Website or your activities in connection with the Lawyerouno Websites; (v) information or material transmitted through your internet device, even if not submitted by you, that infringes, violates, or misappropriates any copyright, trademark, trade secret, trade dress, patent, publicity, privacy, or other right of any person or entity; (vi) any misrepresentation made by you; (vii) Lawyerouno’s use of the information that you submit to us (including your User-Generated Content); (viii) your purported “ownership” of any usage subscriptions or virtual items; and (ix) the increase or decrease in “value” or loss of usage subscriptions or virtual items if Lawyerouno deletes, terminates, or modifies them (all of the foregoing, “Claims and Losses”). You will cooperate as fully required by Lawyerouno in the defense of any Claim and Losses. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Lawyerouno retain the exclusive right to settle, compromise, and pay any and all Claims and Losses. Lawyerouno reserves the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any Claims and Losses. You will not settle any Claims and Losses without, in each instance, the prior written consent of an officer of a Lawyerouno.

By using the Lawyerouno Website, you agree that the exclusions and limitations of liability set out in the Lawyerouno Website disclaimer are reasonable.


Breaches of these terms and conditions

Without prejudice to Lawyerouno’s other rights under these terms and conditions, if you breach this User Agreement in any way, Lawyerouno may take such action as Lawyerouno deems appropriate to deal with the breach, including suspending your access to the Lawyerouno Website, prohibiting you from accessing the Lawyerouno Website, blocking computers using your IP address from accessing the Lawyerouno Website, contacting your internet service provider to request that they block your access to the Lawyerouno Website and/or bringing court proceedings against you.


Without prejudice to any remedy that we may have against you or any other right provided under this User Agreement,Lawyerouno may terminate or suspend with immediate effect and without notice your access to and use of the Lawyerouno Website and your membership if it:

1.      does not receive timely payment under your subscription;

2.      reasonably believes that you have breached any of these Terms and Conditions;

3.      is unable to verify the accuracy or validity of any information provided by you;

4.      or suspects fraudulent, abusive or illegal activity by you.

In the event of termination by Lawyerouno in accordance with this User Agreement, you will not be entitled to any refund for any amount paid by you.

Should you object to any part of this User Agreement, or any subsequent changes to them, or become dissatisfied with the Lawyerouno Website in any way, your only recourse is to immediately discontinue to access or use the Lawyerouno Website.


Lawyerouno may revise these terms and conditions from time-to-time. Revised terms and conditions will apply to the use of the Lawyerouno Website from the date of the publication of the revised terms and conditions on the Lawyerouno Website. Please check this page regularly to ensure you are familiar with the current version.


Lawyerouno may transfer, sub-contract or otherwise deal with Lawyerouno’srights and/or obligations under these terms and conditions without notifying you or obtaining your consent.

You may not transfer, sub-contract or otherwise deal with your rights and/or obligations under these terms and conditions.


If a provision of these terms and conditions is determined by any court or other competent authority to be unlawful and/or unenforceable, the other provisions will continue in effect. If any unlawful and/or unenforceable provision would be lawful or enforceable if part of it were deleted, that part will be deemed to be deleted, and the rest of the provision will continue in effect.

Law and jurisdiction

These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with Indian law, and any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India.


Nothing in this User Agreement is intended to, or shall be deemed to, establish any partnership or joint venture between any of the parties, constitute any party the agent of another party, nor authorize any party to make or enter into any commitments for or on behalf of any other party.

If we fail to exercise or enforce a right under the User Agreement, that failure shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

This User Agreementsets out Lawyerouno’s entire agreement and understanding with respect to the subject matter of these terms and conditions and supersedes all representations, communications and prior agreements (written or oral).

You acknowledge that on entering into this User Agreement, you do not rely, and have not relied, upon any representation (whether negligent or innocent), statement or warranty made or agreed to by any person (whether a party to this User Agreement or not) except those expressly set out in this User Agreement.

Unless expressly provided in the Terms and Conditions no term of them is enforceable by any person who is not a party to it.


In addition to the above, paid members agree to abide by the below mentioned provisions:

If you are registering with the Lawyerouno Website as a business entity, you represent that you have the authority to legally bind that entity. If you are trading as a business, you must comply with and you are responsible for all laws applicable to your business.

You represent and warrant toLawyerouno that you are of legal age to form a binding contract. You also certify that you are legally permitted to use and access the Lawyerouno Website and take full responsibility for the selection and use of and access to the Lawyerouno Website.

You are responsible for any personal information (such as phone number address etc.) that you submit to the Lawyerouno Website. Notwithstanding anything provided in this User Agreement or the Statement of Privacy, you acknowledge and agree that all information that you submit to the Lawyerouno Website is freely searchable and available to other users or viewers of the Lawyerouno Website.


You will need to register to become a member of the Lawyerouno Website ("Member") if you wish to access the services via the Lawyerouno Website, and continued membership is subject to Lawyerouno’s subscription charges set out in your subscription plan. You are free to change the membership package to which you subscribe at any time, subject to this User Agreement.

To register to become a Member you must provide Lawyerouno with information about you via Lawyerouno's registration form. Lawyerouno's use of this information is set out in Lawyerouno's Statement of Privacy which can be found at http://lawyerouno.com/pages/privacy-policy.

You must provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself when completing the registration form. You must maintain and update this information and keep it true, accurate, current and complete. If any information provided by you is not true, accurate, current and complete, Lawyerouno has the right to cancel your membership and refuse any and all current or future use of the Lawyerouno Website.

Registration requires a valid email address (which will serve as your user name) and unique password. Please create a secure password: choose a password that uses a combination of letters, upper case and lower case, numbers, and symbols. Avoid choosing obvious words or dates such as a nickname or your birth date. Please use maximum caution to keep your user name and password confidential and log-off from the Lawyerouno Website when your session is complete to prevent unauthorized access to your information. If your user name or password is subject to unauthorized access, you should immediately inform Lawyerouno at admin@lawyerouno.com.

You must not tell anyone else your user name or password. Any unauthorized use of either of them must be reported to admin@lawyerouno.comas soon as you are aware of such use and Lawyerouno will, as soon as reasonably possible, cancel your user name and/or password and issues new ones to you.

Lawyerouno may, for security or other reasons, require you to change your user name and/ or password or other information which facilitates access to the Lawyerouno Website or its services.

Lawyerouno reserves the right to cancel your user name and password without notice if Lawyerouno becomes aware of any breach of this User Agreement by you.

Once Lawyerouno has sent you a confirmation e-mail, you will become a Member and will be able to access the services available via the Lawyerouno Website.

 Refund and modification

You may cancel your membership at any time by writing a mail at admin@lawyerouno.com.Cancellation will take effect from the next payment period and you will be entitled to a refund for any membership fee already paid on a pro-rata basis.

You may downgrade to a different package at any time by writing a mail at admin@lawyerouno.com. Any reduction in the applicable membership price (for example, where you downgrade to a lower-priced package) will take effect from the next applicable payment date and you will not be entitled to a refund for any periodic fee already paid in respect of such users or enhanced package.Any increase in the applicable membership price (for example, where you upgrade your package) will take effect from the date of notification (so that a pro-rata payment shall be made for the remainder of the current payment period, with the full payment to be made from the beginning of the following plan period). Your membership period begins on the date on which you register for the services and finishes on the day before that calendar date the following period.

Charges and Payment

Charges are linked to the membership package to which you subscribe. The terms of the membership package to which you subscribe are incorporated herein by reference as if fully set forth herein.

You will be charged in advance of your payment period until your membership is cancelled together with additional transaction based charges. Details of charges are shown within the sign-up process. Charges are expressed in Indian Rupees.

Payment for all charges are payable upon registration or the relevant periodic payment date. You can pay membership fees by using the payment gateway provided by Lawyerouno. Your payment details will be encrypted to minimize the possibility of unauthorized access or disclosure. At the time of payment, you will be asked to provide sensitive details. In the event that Lawyerouno is unable at any time to obtain payment of any charges using such credit card details, Lawyerouno may freeze your account until it has received settlement in full.

Lawyerounouses all reasonable efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your credit or debit card details such as encryption technology and firewalls. Your credit card number and contact information will be provided to Times of Money which has its own privacy and data collection practices and Lawyerounohas no responsibility or liability for these independent practices.


If you are in a public place we strongly advise you to make sure that you are not being observed by someone as you enter your details. This is to prevent them being misused by someone else.
